Faye Dunaway is amazing in this film!
Never liked her, but in this film I think she is really wonderful. As a director Spacey may not be terribly imaginative, but he sure knows how to get a great performance out of his cast.

shareI agree with you completely, that's why it was so surprising to me that she was actually nominated for a Razzie(the Oscar's annual opposite awards) for Worst Supporting Actress for this performance. What a shame because I thought she was very good in this movie!!
shareOh my god.
She was so horrible in this film it is almost laughable.
I found it hard to even sit through her lines.
I loved how she goes 'If you dont bite, dont bark doggy dog' to Dova. Oh man i expected him to smash her face in after that, shes so antagonistic.
I thought she was good too, and I'm definitely not a fan. She play a used up bar wench quite admirably.
Though I'd love to be fabulous,
I regret that, alas, I remain -- Anonymous.

I've always had mixed feelings about Faye, but she's pretty good in this film, as is the rest of the cast. The face is a bit of a distraction, though.
shareI also fee the same way like you. Didnt like her so much, but she was really good here.
shareDunaway did indeed bring her A game for her role as a sassy and cynical barmaid. The sequence towards the end when she cries and pleads for her life was very powerful.
I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
She didn't deserve a Razzie nomination for this role as she out acted everyone in the film. Her character was the only back story I wanted to know more of. What was her motivation in her acting the way she was and when I found out why, I could believe her character and her actions in the film.

The Razzies were sometimes like the Oscars... they nominated and awarded performances that were simply unworthy. Faye gives a smashing performance in this movie and it's one of her better 90's performances.
Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
