It was a big waste of my time.

This movie has a really good cast, and with Kevin Spacey directing it seemed like a good bet. Plus it is set in New Orleans, a city I've spent a lot of time in.

But almost all of the movie takes place in a basement bar from its closing time to sunrise the next morning. The dialog isn't very interesting, the action not very pleasant, and it all comes to a very unsatisfying ending.

New Orleans doesn't have basements. This was probably filmed in California with a few stock shots of New Oleans waterfront from the air and a stock shot of street cars.

When it was over I had wasted the 90 minutes seeing it. I cannot imagine anyone actually liking it except perhaps to see the actors.
