Underrated

While it obviously doesn't compare to the original animated feature, the 5.4 on here is kind of low.

Glenn Close's performance alone should put it at around 6.5 at least. She is beyond phenomenal. She just embodied Cruella. What could have gone wrong (adapting such an iconic animated villain into live action) goes SO right in the hands of Close. A total blast to watch.

The movie is, thanks to her, so much more memorable than it has any right to be.

I think it's underrated too.

I mean, it's no blockbuster, but it's definitely an easy watch, and I agree that Glenn Close is *awesome*. I enjoy her every time I see this; she really embodies the role and it's fun to watch.

I also liked the rest of the cast. Anita is a good fit, and Hugh Laurie is funny to see. To be honest, while I'm an enormous animation fan, I actually much prefer this film to the animated picture. I think the 1961 film is kind of a bore.
