If you've done any studying about the Titanic, the inaccuracies are glaring, but it overall is a good movie.

You follow the stories of two main couples. Wynn and Isabella, a first class pair, and Jamie and Osa, a third class couple. Isabella is returning to her husband, Eddie, and daughter, Clarie, in America after dealing with her aunt's death in England. Wynn books a ticket on the Titanic after he learns Isabella will be on the ship. Wynn and Isabella were a couple, but something (I can't remember who or what) separated them. They meet on the ship and rekindle their romance. Jamie is a thief who pickpockets his ticket off a man who passes out after a night of festivities. He meets Osa and the Jacks (an Irish family traveling to Minnesota and kind enough to take Osa with them.) They fall in love, but Jamie is drawn by his past and a steward (Tim Curry) into robbing the 1st class passengers.

The movie also shows the Allison family- Hudson and Bess and their two children, Loraine and Trevor, along with the nanny, Alice Clever. Loraine Allison is the only child from first and second class to perish in the disaster. Alice took Trevor and got in a lifeboat without telling the Allisons. Hudson and Bess wouldn't leave the ship without their son and waited until it was too late to get Loraine into a lifeboat.

SPOILERS:

- Wynn asks Isabella to leave her husband and come to Bolivia with him (where he has tin mines). She sends a wireless telling Eddie she is leaving him. When the ship hits the berg, Captain Smith tells him the truth and Wynn gets Isabella to a lifeboat. Before it is lowered, Isabella tells Wynn that Claire is his daughter. Wynn dies, but his body was recovered by the Carpathia. When the Carpathia docks in New York, she is surprised that Eddie and Claire meet her. She tries to apologize for the wireless, but Eddie claims he never got the message.
- Osa is raped by Tim Curry. Jamie gets Osa onto a lifeboat and then is put to work lowering the boats. He slip and falls into a boat. They meet up on the Carpathia and mourn the loss of the Jacks.

That is a brief synopsis of the movie. You should watch it if you ever have the chance.
