WHEN IS THIS LIFE + 10?

I know it's 'some time over Christmas' but I need to know when? I physically NEED to know, damn it! If I miss this show I will have to be restrained from doing something very very silly!!!

P.S. How many of you HONESTLY watched the very first episode of the show when it was first aired, as opposed to joining it later on when the hype began to start? We must be a select bunch.

I remember I was about 16 at the time and had some school work to do. My Mum said to me, why don't you take a break and come and watch this new programme, it's about lawyers or something? It's about the only time she stopped me doing homework and I'm so glad she did! Oh, the memories.

Apparently it will be shown on New Year's Day but that is still unconfirmed. The Christmas telly schedules will be out soon so not long to find out.

Last ever (well until the reunion:)) episode is on BBC2 in an hour and a bit. The perfect tonic to a *beep* day spent studying and getting pissed on by the rain.

Don't know when the +10 is on yet but I do remember watching the first show.

I was 25 and remember it being all in the newspapers that this new show was coming on with bad language and naked bodies... so I caught it totally by accident of course! I was blown away with it because it was just so different to what I'd seen before and I felt like the characters were friends after just 45 minutes, and was left ready for more of their story.

I'm so pleased that +10 is on it's way, I've been hoping for it for years. I'd like it to continue the story of where they are, but also I'd kinda like some loose ends too. It's the open ended stories that last with you the longest, and the best shows always leave complete endings up to the viewer.

I couldn't see anything on the BBC2 website - it still says it will shown in December. Wonder if it will come out on DVD immeadiately afterwards like the Royle Family reunion did.

Ooh, I hope so. With loads of extras and interviews and delicious goodies. Bring it on.
It's interesting to hear everyone else get nostalgic about where and when and how old they were when they watched This Life the first time around.
I was 16-18, it was just before I went to university and after watching it I couldn't wait to leave home and enjoy all the freedom and lunacy the characters were revelling in.
Now I've done everything they did and come out the other side, married with a 7 month old daughter. It's scary to realise I'm a few years older than Egg, Miles, Anna and the rest were in the first series.
Hope the rumours about the reunion being on January 2nd aren't true, I'm travelling home from the north of Scotland. If that train is delayed I will be in turmoil!

I am nineteen and obviously did not see it during its original run, but I had heard a lot about it and thought that I might get round to buying the DVDs. However, then it was repeated last autumn, eight episodes a week, late at night for a month. I started watching it and soon became hooked and I am proud to say that I did not miss a single episode!

I hate people who pretend they're superior; it makes it much harder for those of us who really are.
