i liked this character but i'm not sure what purpose she had? when Egg starts to work with her and they get on so well and he and Milly seem to be drifting apart i thought they might get together. then when Egg finds out about Millie and O'Donnell i thought he was gonna go to her crying and she'd comfort him and they'd end up together but nothing happened. So in the end she was simply Egg's friend and workmate at the cafe?

Yeah, I see your point a little bit. There was this whole background story about her kid and whatever that no one seemed to care about. To have her as an additional character was fair enough but I didn't think giving her that much screen time was necessary.

Sometimes in life you work with people or meet people, that have little or no effect on your future. The opposite is quite true too. Nikki's life was different to eggs and the rest of the house. I think Nikki's one parent, livivng on minimum wage affected how he viewed life. At that time it was all about his carear, what should i do etc.....Nikki did everything for her son. Eggs father got off his bum and wrote a book.
Thus egg 10 years later...author. For the record the "new" episode was terrible.
