UK DVD Release
How come this show has never been released on dvd here in England? Can you anyone tell me please if there are plans to release it over here soon? Does the US versions have special features?
shareQuite simply because it took over a year for someone that is also in the Region 2 zone to respond to your question. Warner bros don't think there is enough of a demand and until they bring out a decent superman movie there won't be.
They brought out the Batman animated series 3 years ago, but only vol 1 and 2 in Region 2. And never region 3. Obviously 1 and 2 didn't sell well. But after Batman begins and dark knight they have decided to re-release them and finally end the collection. Mostly down to the increase in sales of vol 1 and 2 and also the success of batman gotham knight. So I'd suggest buying a region free dvd player, they aren't too expensive nowadays.
