I can't but think how interesting it is....
That Superman: TAS, as well as the other shows in the DCAU (Batman, JL/U, Batman Beyond, etc) are shows seemingly aimed at kids yet actually wind up coming off more mature than the last couple live action series. I remember liking Lois and Clark as a kid, but looking at it now.... wow, a lot of if really comes off as cheesy (mostly good cheesy, but still). And Smallville..... well, what can be said accept that uses elements that only the most childish series would (tears bringing people back to life anyone?)
I'd bet everything that 20 years from now the TAS series will still be widely remembered yet the live series will mostly have faded into obscurity.
