really crazy thing I just noticed after 15 years of watching this series

I was re-watching the series for the 100th time the other day, and when I finally got to Legacy part 2, I noticed that when Superman and Lois are looking for Supergirl in the underground government facility, Superman repeatedly calls for "Kara", not using the name "Supergirl until after they are all 3 together running from the guards.

Uhh... just 3 or 4 episodes earlier (Unity) Kara states that she spent most of her spring break with Lois, going to events and stuff... I mean? First of all, it'd be weird enough being around Clark and Kara and not recognizing both of them, making the connection that they are 'cousins' or whatever.. but then he actually called her Kara in front of Lois??? Are we to assume that Lois knows Superman's identity post Legacy? In Justice League I thought she still didn't know, but this was a very interesting tid-bit.

Kara Supergirl's Kryptonian name. Kara In-Ze. Lois knows this just as she knows Superman also as Kal El.

IF we are supposed to believe that Lois looks at Kal El as Superman and Clark in the same day...sometimes seconds apart, but never puts together the identity secret then I guess it is not any bigger a thing to believe that she never deduces that both the Kara's are actually the same person

She's a great investigative reporters, but secret identities throw her for a loop
