I think Smallville is the only show that makes Superman look stupid. Even in Lois & Clark, Superman didn't need someone (Chloe) to help him figure out even a basic lead.

Some examples please of how this show makes Superman look stupid? I watched it as a kid and I'm rewatching it now and I can't think of an examples.

I hear what you are saying but the show was made mainly for kids and as well as being entertaining it has also to show a certain degree of morality.This is made possible by making Superman not absolutely flawless.

He's a little dumb compared to Batman in World's Finest. But that's intentional.
