Name any character(s) on Spin City that you didn't really like. I barely cared for Caitlin. She got in the way, acted ridiculous, and usually only talked to guys she had a crush on. She just wrecked the show.
The Mayor's daughter who was a selfish brat and had no respect for her father. When she did that Lady Godiva stunt during a parade and we the viewers were supposed to understand her. I did not. Reality, she would have been arrested for indecent exposure. The Mayor needed to introduce her to a belt.
I was glad that she was not a series regular. I love the actress but the character was awful.
I'm not even gonna bother commenting on S5 and S6 just gonna pretend like that didn't happen otherwise Sheen would be one person I couldn't stand.
But up until Mike left, Caitlin was one I couldn't stand. There was really NO need for her.
They should've just focused more on Mike's team instead on replacing them with Locklear and Sheen. Then, I would've watched S5 and S6. I cared about Carter, Stuart, Nikki, Janelle, James, the Mayor...but I couldn't stand Caitlin and Sheen.
I just started watching the show on reelz and this is the only show I can think of that Ive wanted to literally severely beat most of the main characters, pure genuine anger lol...still a fun show though
You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize
Paul. Dude annoys the *beep* out of me. So stupid, so unfunny. He was basically the kid who got made fun of every day in school, and I wouldn't feel the least bit of sympathy for him. As each episode of this show comes and goes (watching it each day on TV on FXX), I keep hoping for them to leave him hanging from a door hook by his underwear. Or kill him off. One or the other. Caitlin, I can tolerate. Paul, please tell me gets hit by a bus.
Caitlin was a bad character because the writing for her was so poor and she was just not necessary at all to the show and only really added cliche to the series.
Angie Ordonez was probably one of the worst characters on any sitcom. So one-dimensional, so unfunny, completely lacking of any kind of value.
The show could have been just fine without either of those women, but obviously they needed women in the cast after they got rid of Janelle, Nikki and Stacy.
Janelle wasn't so good either, but at least she added a bit to the show.
Nikki and Stacy were both great characters. All the guys were also great characters, the Mayor, Carter, Stewart, James, Mike and even Charlie wasn't so bad. That's why the show went way downhill after season 4, they lost 5 good characters and replaced them with one okay character and one terrible character.
Thank you! Most people blame the demise on Sheen replacing Fox but I think the rest of the cast that left had alot more to do with it. I liked Nikki until they coupled her with Michael. Why do they always feel the need to couple their characters?
I hated Paul too, and you describe it perfectly. Also the man was terrible at his job, just fire that dumbass. I really don't care for the last 3 seasons, I think, basically when Caitlin joined to staff it started to suck big time. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the charaters the first 3 seasons.
