in the manga, chibi chibi is sailor moon's true form, sailor cosmos, from the far away future. she came back to the past as chibi chibi to guide sailor moon in defeating galaxia. they don't directly say that sailor cosmos is usagi, it just says that sailor cosmos is sailor moon's purest form. this could mean that as time goes by, and the position of sailor moon is passed down, eventually the purest form will come from it...hence, sailor cosmos. i don't think usagi is sailor cosmos bc that would mean that usagi is also chibi chibi. but hey, its a matter of your opinion.

I agree! I always had the impression that Sailor Cosmos is a decendent of Sailor Moon! Maybe a great-Granddaughter or even further into the future. She's fighting Chaos of the future (Sailor Chaos) and has heard of the legend of her ancestor(Sailor Moon) and how she fought chaos too. So she go's to the past in the form of Chibi-Chibi to try to get sailor Moon to do away with Chaos compleatly (destroy the Galaxy cauldron)so her future will be free. But instead she learns an important lesson from Sailor Moon, and go's back to the future to do what she now knows is right!
This is how it went in my head anyway when I read the menga. It's sooooooooo terribly sad that this story never got to the anime! It would have been awesome! Oh well, we get what we get.
One thing I didn't get from the Anime was Chibi-Chibi and the fact that she is the starseed of Galaxia. From what the Anime and Manga say, a starseed holds the essence of the Sailor that it comes from. Thats why the sailor senshi
re-appear when their star-seeds are free.
But for some reason, Chibi-Chibi( a seemingly different character) is created from Galaxia's starseed? How could a different person come from someone elses starseed when a starseed is suppost to hold the carries essence? Unless Galaxia looked like Chibi-Chibi when she was young. Another theory is, what I like to call (The Chibi-Usa theory). When sailor moon gives birth to Chibi-usa, her powers are not awake. But with the help of sailor Moon's crystal, she gains her power and the silver crystal is re-formed into Chibi-usa's Pink moon crystal!
So maybe Chibi-Chibi is somehow a new creation from Galaxia's crystal, in other words, Galaxia's daughter? But then the questions is, in any case, how is Galaxia alive if Chibi-Chibi is her Starseed? In the last ep. it clearly shows that after Galaxia is cleansed, she and Chibi-chibi never merge or anything? So how is Galaxia alive?
Sorry for typing so much, but this is what I wonder while I watch this un-finished yet wonderful Anime! Please explain if possible!
