I'm pretty sure you are right.

There was some weird dispute, so even the DVDs don't have the original songs on them anymore. If you read the reviews on the DVD set, you can see where people complained about the songs changing.

The unfortunate thing about a lot of the tv series and the good songs that we heard when aired, are not on the dvds/blu rays, and with some of the replacement songs, just not the same or just bad. The shows with the original music were best the way we remember when first aired.

Have even found that watching the dvds, then watching the same show on something like netflix, they have changed the music again, eg Charmed, dvd music not bad, but watch on netflix, (except for the songs played by the real singers/groups, thankfully), the music is very off, dvd version better.

Seems like music just does not seem to matter, well to those who just think we only watch the story and music has no effect to said story. And now, because of some court ruling, anyone maybe able to take another to court because it sound a bit like something else, and over the last 5 yrs, can think of several that had the same sound as some of the 60s and 70s, hmmm really when you think about it, all music ties together, and the funny thing is, even though think this ruling was very wrong, did not really care for the song, but actually think that this jury really did not like, well one of them because he was an A HOLE, but you dont make this ruling because of an A HOLE...Kinda like the beat of Rollin in the Deep, sounds somewhat like, with the beat..

.ok ranting here, but I dont like when they change music, and then seem to do it again, wish they would keep the same music that was on show when aired...

I'm watching that episode right now after recording it from channel Teen Nick. It played tonight, tonight in that scene with her flying over the city. :)
