back story on parents?

i just catch this on when nothing else interest me so i wont become a regular viewer. i was just wondering where are her parents? i think i saw robbie benson on as her dad today. did anyone play her mom?

Her parents got married despite their differences in background. A few different people have played both characters on this show.

They divorced when Sabrina was 10. She lived with her Mom and saw her Dad occasionally. She thought he worked out of town.

When she turned 16, her custody was turned over to her Aunts to teach her magic. Her mom took that time to go on digs because she is an archeologist.

She went to live with her Dad for one episode in the series, but missed the mortal realm.

The Witch's council kept her from her Mom by threatening to turn her mom into a ball of wax. She saw her mom despite it and she was turned into a ball of wax. It was later reversed.

Her Mom also comes to her wedding at the end of the series because her Aunt got turned into wax instead.

well, it sounds silly but i suppose that's the show.thanks for taking the time to respond.

It's definitely silly, but it was a sitcom that changed networks and a lot of staff over the years. Continuity was not a huge point with them.
