What is the Connection?
This show is listed on this page as being a spinoff of the film Poltergeist. I've never seen the show so what's the connection?
shareThere's no explicit connection between the films and the series, since the films came out much, much earlier. You CAN, however, go back and watch certainly the first two films with the idea that the parapsychologist and her team could well be Legacy members. God knows Tangina could be, with hindsight.
It works quite well that way.
Except for the fact that Zelda Rubenstein (sp) actually plays a character on a couple of the episodes during the series. That might be the connection. That or just because Poltergeist appears in both of the names might be another one. Otherwise, I never found any connections between the movies and the series.
