How's the Season One DVD?

How's the picture quality?
Any extras?
Is it the repeat syndicated version or the original Showtime formatt?

What are these earth things you call "extras". Region 2 DVD has nothing. Not a sausage. The picture quality was fine on mine (heard it was ropey from some people but looks ok to me) but the sound is a bit quiet.

It says "A Showtime Presentation" at the start of each episode.

Don't know if that helps, probably whiffling now but I'm REALLY tired...:-)

Considering the opening sequence is the one that Showtime ran with, I'm going with that format that they used to produce the DVD's. There's also no commercials in it and no black spots where they would have been cut out. The sound on mine were fine, but I'm in the US. As for the extras, don't know if there are any. Haven't tried it in the comp to see if it picks up anything that way.

I'd say it's the Showtime version since there's nudity and gore.

Poltergeist The Legacy Season 1 is the Showtime version Just like the DVD's for SG1's first seasons for Showtime so there wouldn't be the black spots for the commercials like DVD's made for a show shown on NBC would have.
