Does anyone know or have read anything about the castle-like house they used for the San Francisco Legacy house being a real house? Does soemone own it or can you visit it like a historical landmark? I am just wondering. I have always thought it was a very pretty house from the outside and I wonder if the inside is the same house or if the inside was just some sound stage somewhere.

The interiors of San Francisco Legacy House were most definitely shot on a soundstage. The link below has photos of the set. You can see the stage ceiling in many of the pictures:

The exteriors were probably a real house somewhere. I think it may have been the same mansion used as Xavier's school in the X-Men movies.

Hatley Castle was used as the San Francisco Legacy House. You may be interested in peeking at http://www.thelegacy-ws.com/ as well as it has more interactive shots of the inside of the house and is an active site that has things added to it almost every week.
