I know the DVD release has already been mentioned in a previous thread but I just wanted you guys to know that the Region 1 DVD is now available for PRE-ORDERING at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000CEV3MI/thelegacyorg

Good news for P:TL fans in the UK!!!

The season one DVD will be released 27 March 2006 on Region 2 PAL DVD.

Because they released the first season does this mean they are likely to release all 4 seasons. I truely hope so because they only screened the first two (at 2am I might add) and so I have never seen all of it.

We'll just have to see. The sales of the first season dvd set will probably clue in TPTB that we want ALL FOUR SEASONS released!

I agree with you that the first season was disappointing. It focused primarily on the windy "Bright Light - Bright Light" style of special effects, and the characterizations were a little less than stellar. I found myself wanting to see the demise of half the team (specifically Derek, the pompous piss-ant and Rachel, the whiny hag).

However, the second season is definitely the best of all the seasons on this show IMHO.
