Millennium's James Wong, Glen + Darin Morgan involved in a new show.....

Being a big Millennium & X-Files fan I recently found out about 'Tower Prep http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1480669/ ' a show running on cartoon network, about a strange school set up for kids with special powers.

X-Files/Millennium's Glen Morgan, James Wong & Thomas J. Wright have wrote/directed and produced Tower Prep episodes. The next story is by Darin Morgan who penned so many of X-Files darkly comic episodes including fan fave 'Jose Chung's From Outer Space' and the Millennium classic 'Somehow, Satan Got Behind Me'.

Wong is also working on The Event, but it does not have a Morgan & Wong feel to it at all. It's not clever or funny or subversive. Not even close. Looks like the Morgans are the clever, funny ones.

I tried to like The Event but gave up after the 3rd, I don't know didn't feel like it had enough of its own feel for me to really love, a little 4400 here a little Lost there. Maybe I'll try catch back up with it as it goes on.

1st thing you need to remember with Tower Prep is its for the PG-13 family market, but had some interesting little things going on and is showing real potential.

The Event was entertaining for about 5 episodes and then it never really went anywhere, it was like 17 episodes of the same plot and then they killed a bunch of the main characters.
