Midnight of the Century

What an awesome episode. Its such a perfect Christmas "ghost" story and is complimented perfectly with the use of the haunting Nutcracker "Arabian Dance" music. I honestly can't really even put my finger on exactly what makes this episode so special. It is a pretty basic plot, but at the same time it is just so real. The best term I can come up with for it is dark spirituality.

It is very atmospheric, which was one of Millennium's biggest strengths.
There is one thing I find confusing though:
I always took it, that Frank's father dies at the end, this is why Jordan can see his ghost walking down the street. Yet in the season finale Frank again gets informed that his dad just died. So, did Jordan have a premonition, or what exactly was going on there?
