What happened to Penseyres?
In the first episodes, it was Penseyres rather than Watts who worked with Frank Black as his Millennium Group assistant. Were the writers unsure if Terry O'Quinn was available?
shareI think it was Season 2 that really put Peter into a heavy role as Frank's right hand, which makes sense in my view as they don't really become best friends until after Bletch's murder. Notice in Season 1, Frank often worked with other members/candidates of the Group, Peter just happened to be the most since he was his patron. Poor Mike Atkins, the guy who actually introduced Frank to the Group, got the harshest treatment in the two eps he was in.
