Surd meets his demise in the season 2 episode "Thoughtscape", when Jessie has his mind/conscience forever trapped inside Questworld. And to make it even worse, she also deletes his ability to walk/move around in Questworld, making his virtual body just as paralysed and crippled as his real-life body.
