I don't understand why people ship Arnold/Helga
She treats him like crap and sabotages his dates with other girls. What makes you think Helga deserves a chance? If the genders were reversed, no one would ship them.

She wasn't raised by decent parents and therefore doesn't know how to act. You'd be angry too if you grew up in the same living condition as Helga.
Plus despite treating him like crap, she has proven many times that she DOES care about Arnold. Even Arnold himself knows that she's a decent person deep down.
I agree that her life sucks and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but there's no excuse to be a bitch.

There is for her, get over it, and for the record, she's not a bitch, just assertive, tell the difference nimrod. There are many instances in this lovely show where she expresses a paramount of decency.

I agree with all of this. Well said, she came from a family that didn't know how to express their feelings out in the open, and don't forget the fact that her parents also gave more attention and favor to her older sister Olga.
Don't play games with a girl who can play better.
