Arnold's Christmas still gets me
I've watched it each Christmas for nearly twenty years and I still get a bit teary at the end when Helga whispers, "Merry Christmas, Arnold."

shareSame here! It was just on tonight and I was so excited to see it. The Kenan and Kel Christmas special gets to me too.
shareI just rewatched it today and yeah it still gets me too.
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
That's my favorite Hey Arnold episode. I watched it recently too and I think left thinking "awe Helga that was so sweet." I don't know how anyone can dislike Helga after she did that for Arnold. (not that I ever did)
shareThe sad thing is that my feeling about this episode is anger. Helga should never have had to give up her own gift, that she had gotten fron her usually neglective parents! As a matter of fact, how did she even explain to Big Bob and Miriam that her boots were gone?
Intelligence and purity.
Same with the Thanksgiving episode when Helga and her parents have a bonding moment and Arnold whispers "happy thanksgiving Helga"
shareMaybe Mr. Bailey felt bad and let Helga keep the boots. We didn't really see them interact much after her speech. But I would've still given him something, for staying all night on Christmas Eve and helping my friend.

In the next scene we see Helga she's not wearing her new boots, so I think it's safe to say she didn't keep them.
shareArnold's Christmas still gets to me too even though I have seen it several times through the years.

Helga really loves him.
shareYes, It's so heartwarming to see Mr. Hunyh got to reunite with his long lost daughter. The episode that really got to me the most was Parents Day. That piano note during the episode's ending.
RIP IMDb
The Thanksgiving one gets me as well. I can't get over how Arnold whispered "Happy Thanksgiving Helga" in such as sweet and cute manner :)
