Trever Noah: Racist.

He should come on and just say, "Hi, I am Trevor Noah, Today stupid white people said this and Oh how I hate White people. And Now a piece that is racist against whites but if the same were done to black people I would be whining and calling for a ban". It would clear up a lot of the bs he does trying to make himself seem like less of a racist.

Put your filter back on Sam. You sound like an idiot.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

Still less idiotic than your screen name :-).

A few weeks ago Noah was doing a bit about kids arguing with their parents, and then said "#WhitePeople", as if White people are the only people who argue at home with their families.

What if someone made that "joke" about another race? What if that person was white?

Actually he is making fun of the whole race. And he is doing so in a way that is very offensive. To suggest that white people hate their parents..... How funny to you would it have been if he made a few jokes about fatherless black households? If he said that black fathers hate their children. I wouldn't find that funny. Because it would be hurtful and would do nothing but turn people away and divide the audience. Do you think domestic violence is funny? I don't. There are clearly certain things that make you look like kind of a dick to make jokes about.

reply

Haha comedians are usually funny. A comedian Trevor Noah is not.

reply

Exactly. Perfect example. However I don't think he is truly racist I think he just says racist things because he is trying to relate to African Americans even though he is not one. He is from South Africa. He tries to understand the issues that black people here face and instead he just ends up sounding like a culmination of sh*tty black twitter jokes and ways to sh*t on white people. I don't have a problem when most black people from here are messing with white people, it's all good it's just jokes. But they are usually far more understanding of white people and the complexity of the situation than Trevor Noah who seems to just regurgitate catchphrases he hears off of twitter. He sh*ts on white people in ways born and raised african americans know to only do in private to avoid offending people. That's what it comes down to.

reply

I don't think so. He talks about race more than Stewart, but I don't think that makes him a racist.

reply

Yes!
Also, marking "whites" to have different pies ,Resist!

The guy is half white, half black and grew up in South Africa during the apartheid. How the hell can you call him a racist. Stop being so easily offended and grow a pair. People like you ruin comedy. And by people like you I don't mean white people. I mean whiny little overly PC wussies.

reply

He's half white though....
