Noah: "So, i'm on the good side right?"

This guy just seems so forced and clueless. Like he probably has no idea if he and his show are actually on the side of the moral majority or not, or if he does think he knows, then he just feels fortunate because he would've taken a job at Fox News had that come along first.

He is actually getting better at making it sound convincing as he promotes Democrat Party talking points, but I agree that the commentary he gives aren't likely to be his own beliefs. South Africa doesn't have partisan politics -- the ANC wins everything with no suspense in the outcome, people resent the corrupt system, but there's no viable alternative.

Anyway, I wish Trevor had enough clout on the show to purge The Daily Show of all the Stewart loyalist hacks on the writing staff. Sadly, its only his first year as host, so they continue to feed him garbage about championing Obama's "transgender restroom" policies and "wow Hillary is soooooooooo smart and accomplished!" and Trevor has no choice but to try and make it sound good on national TV.

The Daily Show needs an enema, but it is going to take a long time to purge the show of Stewartism. Sixteen years of non-stop DNC propaganda has sadly become ingrained in the show's psyche. I was too optimistic at first when I predicted Trevor would be able to dismantle all of Stewart's "legacy" within a year. But I still think eventually we will win the battle and take back OUR show from Stewart's henchmen. Jessica Williams leaving was likely the tipping point of the war, and we now have the upper hand. We must continue to fight the ugly idealogy of Stewartism.

Stewart said it took a year or so to wait out Kilbourne's writers.

Noah is playing up the immigrant card, that he's not American so our ways are strange.

I actually like the more international flavor he brings.

This isn't Wall Street-this is Hell. We have a little something called integrity-Crowley

Good point, I think the show will kick into high gear once he's able to free himself from Stewart's DNC-lapdog writers. He has already managed to rid The Daily Show of all the Stewart-era corespondents with the exception of Jordan Klepper.

He ignores Hillary is completely corrupt.

Most of the writers he inherited from Stewart are braindead Hillary worshipers and partisan, card-carrying Hollywood Democrats. Unfortunately, Noah lacks the clout to get them purged and replaced with objective writers who will go after both sides.
