What's with the constant breaks/hiatus?
They do a weeks worth of shows then break for two weeks, then another week or two, then another break? What gives? In an election year? Take your hiatus after he election. Wtf?

shareThat does seem to be the pattern lately. I don't know what's with all the breaks. BTW, this didn't happen on Craig Kilborn's watch -- he always had a full slate of episodes during the month of September. It's probably something Trevor inherited from Stewart's faux Daily Show.
The Daily Show: 1996-1998, 2015-Present
Can't you find Kilborn to watch anywhere now? If you want I will look for you.
Looking at the stats, his two full seasons number of episodes ran in the 150's, same as Stewart's (at least once crossed the 160 mark, but not a big deal).
There was a break in the Spring (one week or two?), then a break before (and after?) the Democratic convention, then again for the Republican convention. And now THREE weeks after the Olympics. There were probably other weeks they took off that I can't remember. They should have enough staff to cover when various people take vacation. When Trevor goes on vacation, they should fill that week with a guest host. It's only 90 minutes of show for one week, it's not like that's a big commitment to have to take on.
