Little idiot...

I'm pretty sure under that smile Mike Colter wanted to punch Jordan in the face for that remark about his daughter (which any father would want to do). However, he would've been categorized into Harry Houck's statement earlier in the episode that "black men are prone to criminality."

That interview was horrible. As much as I don't like Trevor's style of interviewing, he knew how to make a guest comfortable in their zone. Even if Trevor added a joke here and there, he made a guest comfortable without resorting anything below the belt. What Jordan did was horrible and the audience was cringing with every word that comes out of his mouth. What Jordan did was uncalled for. Never resort to below the belt humor.

It took a long time for Trevor to get better at interviews, so it wasn't surprising that Jordan stunk.

I came on this forum specifically to talk about this, that joke crossed the line slightly

I mostly thought Jordan did a decent job, but that comment was really rude :-(

reply

agreed it was a absolutely horrendous comment

Lol I guess I tuned out, totally missed that "joke".

It seems a bit odd to me when you speak of how much will power black people need to have not to punch people left and right. It sounds like it comes easy to white people to not punch other people, thus reinforcing the stereotype of black people being prone to violence.

I said nothing of the sort. :)

It was more of a general you as it was a big part of the episode =).
