Might as well just read HP or Buzzfeed at this point

Nothing original about this show whatsoever anymore. Watching it is like reading the crap all over my Facebook feed. Jon Stewart used to at least have some original segments or views but now every show is lifted directly from the approved left narrative. It's just not funny or unique. The original appeal of the show was that it'd tackle hypocrisy or irony from both sides of the aisle, Jon used to stick it to CNN on a regular basis which was hilarious. Now they've simply fallen in line and every bit is full blown far-left propaganda with uninspired unfunny segments. Can't bring myself to sit through a full episode anymore, it's just too predictable and boring.

When Stewart left apparently a handful of key writers did to. I think that's why it's gone bad as much as Stewart leaving. The team behind the man isn't there either so we're left with people with no vision feeding a man with no vision material that offers nothing near what the show used to offer. Even if I hadn't watched Stewart's show I still would probably find this version dull propaganda.

The only time Stewart would ever get critical of the 'good guys'(liberals) was if they weren't being liberal enough. That's how "fair" and "balanced" he ever got. I can't ever recall him uttering a word against them otherwise. The show under him was just as much, if not more so, of a SJW's wet dream as it is now. Personally, I recall the show being even more extreme under him. But unlike Noah, Stewart was never funny. And if you think he would have been some revelation under Trump's presidency, then clearly you didn't watch his brural appearance on Colbert's show the other day. Perfect reminder of how unfunny he has always been.

Noah decided in the beginning to not go after the media, because that had been Stewart's thing. I think he and the correspondents have come into their own, but the one person who does it better now is Seth Meyers during the A Closer Look segments. Noah does seem to be doing straight news at times when it takes too long to get to the joke, but if the audience isn't following news they need the setup.
