The refugee deal with Australia
If it's a humanitarian issue as Trevor said, then why did there need to be a deal at all? Why wouldn't they keep the Syrian refugees? Why did they opt to accept refugees from Central America instead of the Middle East? Might the fact they have been housing the refugees on islands instead of mainland Australia be a clue as to how the Australian government actually feel about such refugees? Why are any refugees being relocated halfway around the world instead of in neighboring countries that speak the same language, have the same culture, and aren't currently ravaged by violence and poverty?
