Just started watching this series and really have enjoyed it so far. But need some cultural help. In the third episode Father participates in a "football" match. It's obviously not soccer and certainly not American football. Seems to be similar to Australian Rules football but played with a round ball instead. Can anyone shed light on what this game is actually called?

It's the Irish sport of football -- very similar to Aussie rules football. They have an organization called the Gaelic Athletic Association which is the ruling body for a number of sports (www.gaa.ie).
