Great idea, but Travolta's racist performance ruins it.
What was with that accent? And the speech? A tiny bit of thought could have been put into this and he could have developed a different speech pattern. Instead, he spent this film doing a pathetic imitation of what he must think is a "black accent". And WTF was the director thinking when he allowed him to do it through every scene?
I forced myself to watch it despite Travolta. I liked the idea that much.
