Parker's gun from "Virtuosity"
I thought this was pretty cool. It's the actual handgun (a modified SIG-Saur P228) used by Denzel himself:

The 228 heh, thought I recognized it. Awesome gun.
shareThere doesn't seem to be any external connection between the laser and the controls on the grip. I wonder how they got that to work? I guess they ran the wires through the grip and then under the barrel or something.
I used to own a P228 with a stainless slide, similar to that one (of course, mine didn't have the laser sight). Seeing that gun makes me regret selling it.

I think you are right. The handgun used by Denzel was a modified Sig-Sauer P228. Sig-Sauer introduced a model around the end of 94' which was called the Nightstalker. It is essentially the same pistol(9mm compact) only it incorporated buttons in the grips, which would allow the operator to either turn the laser on, or select from different styles of beams?. Although I'm not sure if that was the particular model he carried(as there were no buttons visible on the grips in the film), I thought you would find this info. helpful. Take care.

it reminds me a little of the 9mm Beretta
Look at my post again. I posted a link that shows you a picture of the gun used in the movie. If you look at it, you'll see it has buttons visible on the grip.
shareI didn't know they made 50 round clips for this model, as Denzel seemingly never reloads.
