This was so much fun to watch...

I absolutely disagree with the rating. This was such a strange, uber-sci-fi weirdo film that had me laughing so many times. Russell must've had quite a hay day acting out Sid's character; I can't help but smile every time I see this.

You know those types of films where it's just so weird that you love it? This was one of those for me. Anyone else disagree with the rating?

I think the rating is fine, but the movie is so stupid that it's fun to watch. For example, the scene where Russel Crowe takes over the public broadcast network. I was laughing forever about that scene.

Didn't he also make people scream like instruments, or something like that? LOL Hilarious movie.

I gave it 10/10 as I enjoyed every moment of it very much, and it had much better CGI than most movies of that time and a couple of modern movies aswell.

I don't disagree with the rating; it really is a bad movie. But that said, I also like the sheer silliness of it and I still watch it on dvd occasionally for the laughs.

'crawl back into my hole' is it? Well, you can just go d** in a fire.

It's a really silly film. It's sort of fun in that all the effects look really bad in a cute sort of way. Like some small child approved the color palette. Crowe going so ham is remarkably funny and embarrassing at the same time. Was more entertaining than I thought it would be.
