But I prefer twists that add to the story, not ruin it.

It adds to the rewatchability for me... at least for one more time. Watching it with the knowledge of the twist provides an experience different enough from the first time through. I saw things differently and noticed things I hadn't before.

Anything beyond a single re-watch and I agree with you.
