The MOST annoying character is....

This movie is full of lame characters and sure Katherine Heigle is in it so you'd assume she's the most annoying character naturally. But no her schtick wasn't perfected at this time in her career so she gets a pass...

So it has to be Eric Begosian, I mean how can it not be right? Such a dork and so-forth...but no again...

Morris Chesnut as the Porter! Never in my life have I wanted a character to die as much as that one! Sure Hollywood mandates a "smart-mouthed" black side-kick must be written into every-script and once present are immortal & can smart mouth their way out of impeding doom in every scene. Only, seasoned and trained professional, side-kicks are sure to die in movies. Bottom line, all of the "funny" stuff was delivered so badly I cringed and by the time he killed his 2nd or 3rd career mercenary I realized how much this movie really did, just suck!

Gotta agree with you there. First though Katherine Heigle is annoying with her "judo" skills. That part is so silly it should have been edited out.

She tells Sandra Taylor (Kelly) later that the bad guys are looking for her. But she never bothers to remove the Navy Cross necklace? Either she's arrogant or stupid. Take the damn thing off so they can't locate you as easy.

Next in line has to be the "porter". His character was supposed to be half comedy and then they make him a hero too? PLEASE!!!

He learns how to shot a pistol in about one minute after Seagal shows him. And he learns ONE karate move, and manages to use it to save his ass on the helicopter?

Even more ridiculous was how Seagal- check that, "Casey Ryback"- manages to hide under the train? While it's moving? How the hell does he twist himself under there and get out w/o getting cut to pieces?

And when the trains collide at the end Casey "Saves the World" Ryback is just casually jogging along as train car after train car is crashing behind him. And then he leaps into the night w/o knowing if a ladder was there or not.

Oh, and how does he know which channel to switch to in the copter to contact the guys in Washington? And how the heck did Dane live after falling out of the train? He even managed to climb the copter ladder!

It's all so funny it's laughable. Did Seagal really think this movie would be taken seriously?

That WAS a great line and set up. It was interesting seeing Katherine Heigl, as a 16/17 year old. I'd forgotten she was a "child star".🐭

I don't see why he was so annoying? He was a perfect bad guy. I know people with his personality and sure they can get on your nerves from time to time but he played his part perfectly. If you're annoyed with that you must get annoyed a lot with other characters from all sorts of other shows who can come across as just as annoying?
