While in the car in 1996 Madeline Stowes character has a weird way of saying advertisement, has anyone ever heard someone say it like that in real life?

Did not know that, doesnt make sense why it is like that in the movie though. Maybe if Stowe was from England and she couldnt get the word right even with practice but she isnt.
