I have seen this movie a lot, and I swear I have never heard this before. When Cole is in the car with Kathryn she says "It's an ADVERT-IS-MENT, he's not really talking to you it's an ADVERT-IS-MENT." I have never heard anyone pronounce advertisement that way before, has anyone else heard this?!

That's how it's pronounced in the UK.

Yes but it was bizarre since she was in Philly and not British.

No that isn't how we pronounce it, we say it normal, ad-ver-tise-ment

I'm watching it right now on AMC and I noticed that to! I thought it sounded a little annoying to be honest.

It's a bit like the way you Americans pronounce, "aluminum". Or the way New Zealanders pronounce "pergola"
