HUGE plot hole that spoiled the whole movie for me
Toys don't actually come alive.
This movie would've been okay, if they had fixed that detail.

just at night they do...
shareReally? THAT'S the plot hole of a FANTASY film? WOW!
shareMy toys come alive all the time, so it isn't as far fetched as you might think.
shareAnd Sid was just playing with things he thought were inanimate - and thus was not evil at all.
Those toys seriously messed him up for no reason.
Because Woody didn't want Buzz to be blown up. Frankly I can't relate to someone who does what Sid does.
shareYou can't relate to someone who modifies toys? He is a kid playing and doesn't know toys are sentient.
Some of the things he makes are creative.
Even Andy breaks and throws out his own toys from time to time.
I never modified my toys and I never knew anyone who did. Also I don't approve what he did to his sister's doll. Also blowing up toys is bad too. Also what else were they supposed to do to save Buzz?
shareHe could have said 'hey us Toys are actually alive so can you please let him go.' instead, you know actually explain the situation.
I'm not surprised you can't seem to understand the issue here.
Just because you never modified toys doesn't mean it's WRONG. seriously what kind of BS logic is that?
Agree stealing the sisters doll was bad and he should have been disciplined for that. But let's not pretend he knew he was destroying a sentient LIFE here.
I don't care to get into a debate about it. I myself just find it weird to modify toys. I'm not tearing Spider-Man's head off and then put it on a baby's doll's body. It's just weird to me. Also, frankly Sid is the bad guy whether you like it or not. As someone else pointed out he doesn't really act nice at all the entire movie. And it would have scared him just as much if the toys had just come alive and said they don't like what he's doing to them.
shareYou're deliberately side stepping the point again.
Sid might be bad because of other things he does or how he acts towards others, but NOT when it comes to the toys.
The movie has you believe he is torturing toys when literally no-one on THE PLANET knows they are alive. If anything making creations out of toy parts shows that he's creative.
You just haven't seen them come alive.
shareThey only come alive when you're not looking at them. So you don't actually know if they do.
Unless they have a reason otherwise, like what they did to Side
