Who here saw the original movie in November 1995?

I was 6 1/2 and my aunt who was visiting from Orlando FL went and saw it with me and my older sister the day after Thanksgiving (either that or the Saturday after). I clearly remember that. I was excited that they played Hakuna Matata in Mrs. Davis's van. lol. My mom went with us too. I also remember how in the fall of 1996 there was a magazine ad talking about the VHS release. It said "Pick up your toys, (on so & so date of the release)" with a picture of all the toys in Andy's room.

I did! I was 12 and we went on a 10 hr trip to visit family in Illinois like we did every year. It was either thanksgiving break or Christmas break. And my dad took us to see it. I remember I was like "holy crap! That's one of the best movies I've ever seen! Instant classic." Yes I really did think like that at 12. Preteen movie critic!

I saw it in December 1995 I think. And yeah right after I saw I thought of it as my favorite movie ever. I've seen it so many times now the novelty of it has worn off and it's no longer my favorite movie, but it never gets old. It's still ONE of my favorite movies.

I did. I was newly married, my husband & I went to see it. I felt a little weird going to see a kids movie without kids but we both loved it!

I did. I remember really enjoying it and so did my parents. We were all laughing our heads off at it.

Toy Story is the earliest memory I have of going to the cinema for sure. It came out in 1996 for the UK, though, so I must have been about 5 years old when it came out.
