Right there with you man. The positive thing is that you are constantly looking. I actually had to wait 4 years to finally be hired and now I work for a hospital with great benefits. It has been a month and a half and just this last Friday, I had a review. Apparently, my boss told me that some of my co-workers, who were training me, thought that I was not being attentive and/or receptive to what they were telling me. This did depress me a bit because I had never had such reviews said about me. In fact, I am probably one of the most extroverted, high energy, positive people you will meet. I greet everyone with a "hey" in the morning, ask about what they will do on their weekend, and other things.
Life has its ups and downs and you just have to deal with them. Do your best to get along and do what you need to, to survive. I lost all hope and my great boss gave me a chance and now I have to keep my end of the bargain, to get along with these coworkers. Mind you, I had job deal breaker experience on my resume (sales, retail, etc.). I was a brand ambassador for two years (passing out samples, etc.), maybe look into that to make some side cash. For retail, I just counted clothing and products in stores with a machine and had to wake up at all hours of the day (3 a.m. and sometimes 10 p.m., if I had to be scheduled on a night shift (not fun!) Brand ambassador, freelance is definitely a good outlet. On a resume, apparently, these jobs are TURN OFFS!
Hey, if all else does not work out, try looking at your local film office. I know I loved film in general and lucky enough, I have been an extra, production assistant, and stand in for movies. Since we are on a movie database message board, I thought I would include that. It is a very therapeutic hobby that takes away from shocks of reality. They pay well and feed you well. Good luck man!
If a guy like me lost all hope and found something, surely you can too. I only have a Biology degree and my grades are horrible enough to not get me that masters, yet I am still trying to further study. If life opened up for me, surely it will for you and yes, there are some people, who work the job I work, and they have just a high school degree. The other co worker has an associate and bachelor and some even have Masters! We are all working the same job position. LOL!
THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!
