I love this movie a lot, but there is one flaw I can't ignore.

And that's the fact that when Woody and Buzz were on a toy racecar a public road, the drivers on there just kept on driving casually. I'm sure that most people would freak out if they saw moving toys on the road.

And the scene where the guy in the pizza planet car didn't notice Buzz going in there bothers me too since most cars have a mirror at the top.

How did NO driver notice the toys when they were CLEARLY moving on a public road? This makes no sense to me.

But even though it's a legitimate flaw, the problem isn't big enough to damage the movie, it doesn't, I just wanna discuss this.

You just have to dismiss it. The thing that bothers me more is when woody says "well yeah" to Bo peep, but it sounds exactly like he's saying "hell yeah".

The pizza guy did not see him because there were pizzas stacked in the seat and he was talking to another guy outside about directions.

I don't know if I consider those flaws. If we consider those flaws, then the whole film shouldn't be taken seriously...as toys can't talk.

If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.

How do you know the drivers didn't react like you expected? The film didn't focus on them and they were out of shot as quick as they were in it so " off camera" so to speAk they may have been freaking out.
The only real flaw I can see in the storyline is the fact that buzz acts like a toy when humans are around even though he does believe he is one!

Just because you're
paranoid it doesn't
mean that they're
not watching.

Toy instinct or there was unseen dialogue of the other toys showing him the ropes.

How come Buzz, Woody and RC don't freeze when the other drivers see them? What happened to toy instinct?

reply

They had to suspend it because they were in a race to get home, they had likely never been in a precarious situation before so reverting back to toy status wasn't the first thing on their minds at that moment. Same thing with Sid, they broke protocol for the greater good of the other toys and to escape his house.

reply

They were likely paying more attention to the full-sized cars around them than to a single, miniature one that was mostly going under the cars.

reply

That was a flaw? I thought flaws were how Woody somehow has super toy strength to be able to lift the backdoor of a rig and close a door on a dog!

THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!

I have not read your post, but I will guess what the flaw is. Is it that the movie sucks? That's one of the flaws I think this movie has.
