Which scenes were shot in Sandusky??

Would like to know, Thanks.

reply

None. The entire movie was shot in Toronto.

Ohhh, it's all so complicated, with the flowers, and the romance, and the lies upon lies.

Not entirely true. Although I doubt the whole fight between Farly and Spade was filmed in front of it, Prehistoric Forest is an actual roadside attraction in Marblehead, Ohio, which is just outside Sandusky.

A lot of the outside drive-by scenes look as though they were filmed in Sandusky.

I've been through the city a number of times... and the IMDB does state that it was filmed (parts) in Sandusky... so I'm guessing a lot of exterior shots like the drive-by's such as the beginning with a lot of the industrial shots & some of the small town/down-town shots. That's pretty much what that place is like, an industrial city, aside from Cedar Point (which is probably their biggest business, not an industrial plant).

Actually, surprisingly, most of the industrial looking shots (like the factory!) were all shot in the Distillery District in Toronto! Pretty cool.

reply

I don't think it's cool. Too many films that are shot in "Canada" are actually shot entirely in Southern Ontario. Canada has 9 million square miles, why does most filming take place within a couple hours drive of the biggest city?

And it can't be for the "great" scenery --- you can see from all the 'road-trip' shots in TB that Southern Ontario is pretty ugly.

Great scenery and a film industry that is good and good to work with. Southern Ontario is not how you describe it, it is really a beautiful place. I am guessing you have no knowledge of it but like to be viewed as an expert on IMDB. Good for you
