this movie was not good. FOr all the great things all you other users say about it, it is not worth watching at all. the diaoglouge or however you spell it, is over written and hard to understand, just leaving andy garcia looking stupid. the ending in heaven, the bad violence, totally unrealistic, corny, and un original, makes this movie a major stinker.
I don't necessarily mind if you don't like this movie (I love it incidently) but at least make some kind of sensible argument instead of typing meaningless spiels of crap. And you keep on calling this movie 'stupid' yet you can't spell to save your wretched life. jeeeeez
TTDIDWYD (an ungainly, crappy title) is one of the worst flicks i've ever seen. Totally contrived, meaningless and unrealistic, a waste of celluloid and a waste of Garcia's talents... and, mr "spellcheck" shroom, it's spelled "incidentally" btw. Just a point.. spelling is immaterial, if the poster's message comes across clearly, which in this case it does.
I'm not saying this movie is great. I think it is good... it swings the bat hard and sometimes it strikes out but some of those lines were home runs so I'm glad they made the effort.
I'd give it three stars out of four. Good, but you have to differentiate this film from the classics like Pulp Fiction somehow.
I only comment at all to say that if you think this is "one of the worst movies" you have ever seen, then you must be the luckiest movie goer of all time. Or just another exaggerator who needs to cling to that cliche` line to get his point across.
Check out the movies on the bottom 100 on this site sometime, then we can talk about whether or not this is truly one of the worst films you have ever seen.
This film wasn't bad at all, and I also don't think Treat Williams is an idiot, I think he's an awesome actor, and very underrated, and damn HOT too boot!
I loved him in "Hair", which he was awesome in also.
i gotta agree. i thought this was gonna be good. and it wasnt. it was just so much fluff. it was so boring. i cant believe people said they love this movie, let alone think its decent, but thats just me.
Define irony - Attempting to critique a great film with the words (?) "diaoglouge" and "pharses". A fine piece (the i comes first) of self loathing. Thank you.
Hey, I don't have any problems with you guys saying this stuff, but you've gotta...whatta ya call it?...qualify it! He got five big ones for it! Besides he says it wasn't as bad as it seems...kind of tasteless and spongy!
Sounds like KRAZZYK GOT punked, "BUCKWHEAT" style. I only saw parts of the last half. I would never have watched it with such a "stupid" title. Although now I know that the title fits and I, personally, wouldn't have named it anything else. Treat Williams is "THE MAN" I've loved his work, he should do more, or tv series. Andy Garcia has also been, "the bomb" since "Internal Affairs" I WILL RENT THIS MOVIE. AND I'M SURE I'LL ENJOY IT! also KRAZZYK, judge not, lest ye be judged! what is your last movie, and where can I rent it and give you some feedback? -C P.s. good quotes in this flick, already mentioned. Don't let me forget to mention Christopher LLoyd, a genius in everything he touches.
Treat Williams is also in the WB series "Everwood", which is a really good show, as he plays a brain surgeon who is also a widower with 2 children, who picked up an dmoved from NYC to Colorado after his wife dies, and opens up a General Practice.. trying to become the dad to the kids he hardly knew.... Thursday nights at 9 pm....try and catch it, it's going on it's 4th season now. :)
I like this movie. but honestly, doesn't anyone have anything better to do than praise it and/ or critique in petty argumentative exchanges of forum posts. the movie's a *beep* decade old.
