hey... I don't know if you still check this thread or not, but I do know where they are...

the Thick and Rich malt shop was on the corner of 27th and Welton (approx.).. it's right across from the Deep Rock water plant, which you can see in the movie... it is currently empty and has the sign above it that says "Rossian", or something akin to that.. it's also across from Quixote's True Blue and Cervantes... doesn't quite look the same, but if you dig the movie, you'll know exactly which building it is...

as for the Silver Naked Lady, the inside of the bar was just constructed in an old warehouse as a set... but the entrance to the bar was filmed in the alley just east from Union Station, and it is actually the same alley where Mr. Shhh beat up the thugs... What you do is, start at union station and walk directly east from the main doors.. go up the street halfway on the right side (the name of the street escapes me, but I think it's 17th or so) and turn right into the first alley you see... right at the entrance is where Buscemi beat the hell out of those guys.. then walk down the alley about 2/3rds and turn around, I'm not sure if the door is still there, it wasnt functional until they paid the company that owns it to unblock in and allow them to use it, but on your right side is the entrance to the Silver Naked Lady... you'll see the pipes over your head and you'll recognize it... hope that helps! if you need any other locations, just send me an Email [email protected]

I used to work across the street from where they filmed the exterior club shots and got to see the crew in action.

The exterior club scene was created using the building behind the Denver Buffalo Company (1109 Lincoln); Broadway/Lincoln alley between 11th and 12th Avenues. Pretty much behind and across the street from Club Vinyl. The warehouse strattling the alley is still there towards the north.

I haven't been down there in a few years, but the last I saw they still hadn't repainted the exterior of the building.

It still pisses me off that they didn't use more of Denver in this movie.

Oh well... No one really knows what Denver looks like so any city can double.

This movie always makes me nostalgic for the old Elitchs'. I miss the intimacy of the old place (not to mention the "Gum Tree"). The new amusment park can't hold a candle to the old one.

its also nice to see OLD denver preserved in a film. the yuppies have really taken over denver and changed everything. i get nostalgic just watching the opening title credits when jimmy the saint is driving over the old 20th street viaduct which is where coors field now stands. go colorado rockies! =)
