Things To Do In Denver When You're Alive

I've got fours days there after a skiing trip to Copper Mountain.

Any ideas of things to do that don't require you to be dead?

Things involving beer and women would be nice.

I welcome your suggestions!

Looks like I'll have to buy a book. From a bookshop.

Casa Bonita

"Lane, I've been at this high school for seven and a half years...I'm no dummy."

reply

Yeah, but don't go to Casa Bonita for the food.

reply

Yeah, go for the fun instead. The food is atrocious, but there's a lot of fun stuff to do there (If you've ever seen the South Park episode where Cartmen goes there you understand what I'm talking about).

That's usually a happening scene. Have some late night grub at Tom's Diner about a mile and a half west of there on the same street.

I Love Tom's!!! I'm in Minneapolis/St. Paul now and Mickey's can't hold a candle to Tom's.

there was always something happening. Good grub though. It was like a scene unto itself.

Gotta love Capitol Hill!

Is Little Tijuana still around on Nicollette and Pleasant? That was always kind of a fun place to be late night.

I don't know about Little T. I'm a Saint Paul guy. South St. Paul.

Involving beer and women will be easy. We have over 20 microbreweries in Denver. If you want to party it up, hit up brothers bar off Market Street (I believe that's where they shot real world: Denver). Hell just go to market street, there's a bunch of fun bars.

There's usually baseball, hockey, basketball or football games going on depending on when you go. Elitch Gardens amusement park is pretty big and has some awesome coasters (Ride the Mind Eraser, it's fantastic). If you're going during the summer, you can visit Water World Water Park, which is one of the biggest water parks in the US.

There's also mountain climbing, many mountain bike trails and other outdoorsy stuff a few minutes from Denver. Head to Red Rocks in Golden, it has beautiful views. Right next to that is a dinosaur park where they've found a lot of famous remains.

There is a great museum of natural history and a booming art scene if you're into that.
