And yet my entire review history and message board history completely contradicts your conclusion. On Netflix, my reviewer rank is # 10, with 1800 reviews and thousands upon thousands of "helpful" ratings, so the general online consensus of my "negative comment spewing" is in opposition to your conclusion, as well. Just sayin'.
Anyway... Just because a movie is interesting for me to talk about doesn't mean I have to love it. IMDB is all about user opinions. I like to post my opinion, and read other people's opinion. Hardly makes me a troll, to reply to someone's post with my opinion. In general, I am more interested in discussing movies I am not in love with, because I think discussing movies that are problematic is a lot more interesting than talking about the brilliance of the same films endlessly. Dissenting opinons are a LOT more interesting to read and discuss than constantly talking about how much love you have for a film. So, if I tend to frequent boards in which I am not 100% sold on a film, that may be why.
As for having nothing better to do -- you could ask this question of anyone, on any board ever, if they have opinions you don't agree with. Hardly validates or invalidates anyone else's posts. I respect your posts and your opinion even if I disagree -- I wouldn't call you a troll. You'll never survive the internet if you can't accept other people's opinions.
The funny thing is, I kinda dig this film at times, I find it confused and a mess and it totally doesn't know what it wants to do... but I would generally reccomend it. That last scene though is embarassingly bad, imo.
Thanks for playing. Have a nice day.
