Mr Shhh..One of Steve's best roles

Just saw this movie the other day. I was not expecting Steve B to be playing this kind of role. He was actually pretty convincing and scary-ish. I never thought I could see him pull off a role like this,he's just so small and kind of frail looking in some of his movies... His action scenes in this movie were surprisingly good, lol when she starts shooting up the place and killing everyone while holding that person hostage was awesome. HAHA. What different kind of role for Buscemi. I've never seen him play a character like this. Good job Mr. B

Also a similar role he played in Con Air as the prolific child molester.

If you haven't seen Boardwalk Empire then get started on that if you're a Buscemi fan. It's a world away from the 'ineffectual loser' character that he often got sidled with in the '90s. Anytime Buscemi is on-screen in Boardwalk Empire, even when his character's back is against the wall, he oozes power and gravitas.

I wouldn't have put this as one of his best roles though, even if it is memorable. Outside of Boardwalk my top five would be:

Ghost World
Reservoir Dogs
Fargo
Tree's Lounge
Mystery Train

But yeah, Buscemi is one of those actors that can make even a bad film worth a look.
