Your 5 Top Hitmen!

I'm gonna post a copy of this in each hitman's movie's board.

1. Mr. Shush (Steve Buscemi)-"Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead": Great movie, Steve Buscemi makes for a surprisingly efficient hitman. His quiet, businesslike demeanor creeps us all the hell out, and his quick brutality is simply insane.

2. Sorter (Mark Strong)-"Revolver": An honest, almost loveable guy with some sort of OCD, who always has the kids in his best interests. He "never misses" and he's one of the few hitmen on this list who have principles

3. Leon (Jean Reno)-"The Professional": Jean Reno was a perfect fit for a french hitman who really knows how to get the bad-guys. Kudos to Gary Oldman who was one of the most hateable villians we've been given in a while. Leon also had Principles. He just wasn't as sympathetic as Sorter

4. The Tremor Brothers (Chris Pine, Kevin Durand, and Maury Sterling) -"Smokin' Aces" : These guys get points for their mass-destructive, straight-to-the-point method of running in, killing the target and pretty much everything else present, getting out and leaving a major wake of destruction behind.

5. El Estrago (The Plague) aka Pasquale Acosta (Nestor Carbonell) - "Smokin' Aces": The Compassion this man has for the innocent man he may have to kill to accomplish his mission is unrivaled and powerful. A torture expert turned contract killer, El Estrago is force to be trifled with.

My I remind everyone of the Daddy. Anton Chigurh, the guy with the cattle stunner. Surprised no-one mentioned him. Maybe the Coen brothers aren't cool enough for you guys? Whaddaya say? Frendo? Him first - then Leon.

I agree. Anton was one of the most calculated, methodical iceman in cinema history. Don't forget Billy Score (Henry Silva) in Sharky's Machine. One of the best ever.

Jules and Vincent (SL Jackson and J Travolta, "Pulp Fiction")
Jimmy "The Tulip" Tedesco (Bruce Willis, "The Whole Nine Yards")
Charles Bronson in "The Mechanic" (or in just about anything)
Stallone in "The Specialist" (don't remember the character name)
Pierce Brosnan in "The Matador"
"Wheezy Joe" in "Intolerable Cruelty"

Jean Reno is French and he played Leon as a French hitman.

Second chances are rare man, you shoud learn to take better advantage of em'

Leon was Italian. That could not have been made more clear in the movie.

those two are the cream of the crop in characters AND films of the serious hitman themed genre.

1. Danny Trejo and Til Shweiger in the Replacement Killers- Cool scene when they light up those cops
2. Danny Trejo in Desperado- Just plain Badass!!
3. Arnold schwarzenegger in the Terminator- Unstoppable
4. Frank Nitti in the Untouchables- slick and mean
5. Ghost Dog in the Ghost Dog the way of the Samurai- he just played that character to a T.

Agree, Danny Trejo, jumps on the roof of the limo and knives those bastards, priceless.
So hated it when he got killed off in Heat.
