Demon Knight is without a doubt my FAVORITE horror movie of all time! We picked it up by accident when it first came out, and I have been in love with it ever since! One of my best friends and I used to watch it every time she came over, and we even had a deal that when we turned 18 we were going to get 7 six-pointed stars tattooed in a cirlce on our hand. She changed her mind about that YEARS ago... (But I'm still going to do it... hehe...) 1 1/2 more years, guys!!!
"Shut your mouth and get your sh*t in the box!" <- I love that...
Oh my... That is tough... Lol. I love them ALL (especially the Patriot), but I'd have to say that my favorite would have to be Forever Young. It was so sad :-( And then there are the Lethal Weapons, of course!
How about you? What's your favorite movie? (Not just Mel Gibson...) I'd have to say that my all time favorites would be Natural Born Killers and In Dreams. I love them...Lol!
I really love the patriot too but my one of my favorite movie is the Green Mile. All the performances in this movie are unbelievable (tom Hanks, Sam Rockwell, Doug Hutchison) I like the shawshank redemption, the matrix, the sixth sense and the list goes on lol!
If it hasn't been made into a movie, it's not worth knowing about it?
xDerekRx and faith332002 you are both absoluteley right this film is cooler than Tyler Durden on holiday in Antarctica, and a sequel would be fantastic. Should star Jada Pinkett-Smith and that new collector at the end of Demon Knight, although if Billy Zane could somehow be in it then he should be. Demon Knight hasn't even been released on DVD in the UK, or if it has I couldn't find it on Region 2. Had to import and get a region converter disc, but it was worth it.
FINALLY! Someone else who loves this movie as much as I do! This is my favorite horror movie also. I was about 10 when it came out and was wild about "Tales from the Crypt," but this was waaaay different from the show because as much as I hate to admit it, the show wasn't scary. It was good and a lotta things, but scary wasn't one of them. This movie turn those tables though. It gave me nightmares for 3 weeks. Unfortunately it doesn't thrill me nearly as much now, but that's probably because I'm 22 and don't scare as easily anymore.
Anyway, bravo for good taste. While most people either pick cliche classics or cult hits for their favorite scary movies (e.g. Psycho, The Shining, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc) or play the wet blanket and gripe about how they don't like scary movies cuz they don't find them scary, it warms my heart to know I've got someone else in my corner of fans for this underdog kick@$$ flick. By the way, I'm am probably the biggest anti-tattoo person you'd meet, but I really liked your idea about getting the 7 Stars of David tattooed in a cirle on the palm of my hand. I just might do that myself just because I love the movie so much and because that's pretty simple, unextreme, and because I'm sure I'd have to explain it to EVERYone.
absolutely agree...i've got two tattoos already, but those lil stars would be great - also would be interesting to see if anyone would recognise what they were from?? the ultimate homage to a movie methinks!!!!:)
"I've SEEN things you people wouldn't believe...."
I loved watching this movie because I was a big fan of Tales From The Crypt when it was on TV. I remember I would watch this from 10:00 at night on a Saturday night until it went off at 11:00 on FOX. Then I saw it bounce from FOX to ABC, and then finally on CBS and that is when it was not shown anymore at all.
This rocked and was a very good movie too to watch!
